you probably didn't see as many good ones tonight since this season they are spreading it over three nights instead of two, like they did for the previous seasons.

I was a little disappointed with tonights audition footage. It didn't seem like they showcased as many people.

that "scat girl"... WHY do they have to keep showing clips of her "hitting" that note?????? My ears hurt....

Scooter girl... liked her voice but WAY TOO MUCH INFORMATION revealed on first meeting. It will be interesting to see how far she makes it.

I dunno... it's only the first night but no one really blew me away. Still waiting for a Clay look alike to swoon over *sigh*...

PS: He and Kelly C are touring together this summer.

ETA: I forgot to add... but my mom told me that Justin G from first season was booted from his record label cuz his sales were so poor. And of course, the movie did nothing for him. Sad... oh well...

I never understoof why Justin G was in the top 2 anyway...I wasn't impressed with his voice...I thought there were others in the top few that were WAY better than him.

Somehow, even though I was at work, I got to watch pretty much the entire episode (I think I only missed one audition)... While I was putting people in bed, I was watching the tv in their room so I didn't have to miss anything. They mostly have good senses of humor so they thought it was funny. One guy got pissed off and said he 'didnt like that girl's singing, and just turn the damn tv off' when that one girl was on singing Route 66.

Well... I woudln't have called it 'singing' really...

I didn't think these people were quite as funny as last time. There wasn't a Nate, or an Enrique wannabe guy (I forget that guy's name), or a Keith—and "scat girl" wasn't enough to make up for them. I'm hoping that the other cities are more amusing.

I laughed for about 10 minutes at the girl who said she was "a little hoarse" and then pulled out the stuffed horse. It was so awful that it was funny.

I think Simon said it best tonight (surprise surprise) when he mentioned that this season is going to be American Idol 3 Deluted.... I mean we have already found 2... well 3 including Clay... "really good singers" that are American Idols. No one this year so far has really caught my attention. There were some good ones but no one really worth rooting for yet. This series is going to dry up because people just aren't singing well enough for the judges' tastes so they can't make it through. Oh well... it was good while it lasted.

Sorry I am being a pessimist, but that's just how I see it going down.
I miss Clay...

I kinda liked the littel blonde girl from Mississippi. the one that told randy not to lose any more weight--she likes big men. She had a pretty voice and she was a cute girl.

I nearly fainted when I saw her perform...I was going to stop watching after the crappy people were cut out....guess I'll be cheering for her.

hahaha I knew she had to be fake.. or at least I hoped! There was absolutely no way she really thought she had talent; although her performance was rather hilarious. There are so many I have see and I just don't know what they're thinking.. although I think this is much more entertaining than when the actual show gets started. I will probably stop watching once the rejects are off. My favorite is the guy they show on the previews singing Ricky Martin, "She Bangs." He is HORRIBLE... and then when he finishes, says... "I have no professional training." No isht......
