Here is a link from the Tucson newspaper that tells all about harvesting the fruit (which is called "tunas" don't ask me why).

I'm not inclined to eat nopales, but people say they are also delicious. It's enough to annually collect and process the fruit. YUM!

ETA: prickly pear fruit is actually medicinal.

Tunas are amazing, I LOVE them. Not a fan of the nopales though, I find them to be too slimy.

Onion rings as a side! Yep, going to break out Air fryer machine, LOL! Supposedly can do steak also but still trying to get used to the damn machine, get it, LOL!?

Left over pizza, using skillet on stove to reheat!

Medium high cover for 8 minutes. Not supposed to be soft like in micro wave.

Got to keep eye on the clock this time, LOL, saves from burning crust, I hope!!!!!
