The Theta and SAE houses are right next door to each other. Great location. I think the SAE house would need some work...they had a fire there after they were de-recognized by the university.

I saw on Facebook that AEPhi had their own little bid day for all of these new girls who decided to join a day or two ago. CRAZY!

I am confused did Theta have new members this spring or delay their fall initiation? If not I am guessing some of these women have already initiated into Theta and therefore can't join AEPhi. These women might think they are swapping letters but if they were initiated into Theta that's not going to fly. This could get even more interesting.

Theta did not initiate their fall new members. Published reports indicate the chapter was under sanctions, which I'm assuming led to the women not being initiated. I would assume everything is on the up and up and all NPC policies were followed.

With all the press this is getting, it's not like the AEPhi chapter could slip these gals through without anyone noticing. I'm sure there was consultation. I'm glad the gals are able to move en masse and stay largely together.

Now can we find the magic bullet that teaches college kids that they aren't above the rules, and there absolutely are consequences for their stupid behavior? Both fraternity and sorority members really have to be hiding under a rock to not know how this was going to end.

Based on their website it looks like the chapter is being reorganized. Exciting for them to suddenly have so many freshman members join.

Right. It was something like "Allow us to REintroduce ourselves." I don't think the recolonization had gone as planned. This AEPhi chapter was very strong when I went there and I hope it can be successful again. I don't know if all of the new AEPhi members were Theta members; I think there were some who had not previously gone through recruitment.
