Kente Stoles gone mainstream?

Didn't want to hijack the other graduation regalia thread...

How mainstream have Kente Stoles for graduation gone? When I first heard of them, it was NPHC fraternities and sororities only, and then I started seeing them for the non-NPHC greeks that are likely to be in an alternate greek council at an HBCU ( like Alpha Phi Omega, Gamma Sigma Sigma, Kappa Kappa Psi or Tau Beta Sigma).

However today I found a Kente Stole for an NPC sorority (Alpha Sigma Tau) at http://www.african-import.com/cart/C...productCode=30 which also has them for Alpha Pi Omega (which as far as I can tell is a Native America cultural Sorority).

How long before Kente Stoles for Kappa Alpha Order or Alpha Tau Omega?

I'm guessing the company isn't too up on who is what and thought since AST has 2 of the 3 Rasta colors, they must also be a historically black org.

LOL. Exactly.

I see that the websites have updated their stock for the 2010 graduating class. But, Kente stoles aren't as popular as they were in the 90s.
