AST and DG?

Are there any campuses where AST and DG exist or have existed concurrently? Just wondering, as they both share the anchor as their primary symbol.

I believe there are at least a few.

A little while back - maybe 5+ years ago - I looked up the campuses we were on and recorded how many we shared with each NPC. The only one we didn't share even one campus with was Pi Beta Phi. But I believe that's no longer the case and we now share at least one.

Who wants to dig through irishpipes' thread?!

I love trivia like this, so I checked. Pennsylvania first, since that seems to be a big state for AST, but they only share Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Other places: Salisbury, NYU, James Madison.

I forgot Grand Valley State--I was using last year's list, and DG was only about to colonize. Are they on now?

Yes, Delta Gamma colonized last fall and just moved into their new house a week ago! AST also has an active chapter at GVSU.

Interestingly, the GVSU teams are known as the Lakers, and the school's athletic slogan is "Anchor Up!" There is also a hand sign to go along with "Anchor Up."

While Vanderbilt uses "Anchor Down!"

I think GVSU uses "Anchor Up!" to mean "Let's go!". You can't get far with the anchor down.....

Their football team made quite possibly the best sorority recruitment video ever:

Good point! I just know the hand sign is harder to do than Mr. Spock's "Live long and prosper" sign.
