We're having recruitment week next week along with an interest group and anoher local Theta Xi Alpha (who have been pretty nasty to us since the begining....but then again, its greek life right?) I am kinda nervous cuz this is the South, GA at that (where people wear G.R.I.T.S. shirts and Dixie Outfitters with the Reble flag. I can't really say anything about that cuz one of the founding sisters is pretty redneck :P)and I do not think there are any m.c. sororities. I guess I'll just wait to see how the outcome of next week is. I am not ready to give up on DXi. Its my dream and I'll work hard to make it come true.
Hats off to those who are trying to establish their own greek orgs. Good luck!

Good luck!
For the record, I don't think it's very appropriate for members of large national organizations to come into the Locals board and criticize folks for starting locals.
It is, however, helpful IMHO to make sure y'all are aware that starting any GLO is a tough task. I was part of the colonization of a large national organization and it was a VERY difficult thing. It still is. I can't even imagine doing it without the national body's support.
