I actually made meatloaf, mashed potatoes & veggie last night. I was planning on leftover tonight, but DH's team (he's a SID) is winning the last game of their tournament 17-3, so I think we'll be celebrating!

Date night with the husband. French dip for him. "All-American" burger for me. (American cheese, thousand island dressing, and candied bacon. It was the candied bacon that caught my eye. I'm such a good Jew. )
I love to cook, but, from time to time, it's good to get out, let someone else cook, sit back, and enjoy something tasty and unhealthy. We even sat outside - fresh air is good.

Chicken done-up on the grill, because family is expected for the holiday weekend. Lots of tasty bagged snacks prior, with plenty of soda...which reminds me of that old Nat King Cole song about lazy hazy crazy days of summer with soda and pretzels and beer. Keep rollin', everyone!
