I think this thread is interesting in light of all the national publicity being given to the Delta Zeta issue at DePauw. Makes it difficult for a person to try to argue that there are characteristics other than looks which are relevant and important for sorority membership, when this thread is 3 years old and 22 pages long.

I would agree. Especially when you look it from a PNM standpoint, most girls would tend to favor those which have what they call, "Barbie" looking girls, in the chapter, than those who have more personality. It's sad, but true that a good amount of girls go for appearance. Not saying that every PNM is like that, but you do have to admit it does exist.

I actually admire DZ's selection in girls at DePauw. It's pretty sad that it has to go this way.

I nominate Kappa Kappa Gamma at Pepperdine. I'll try to find some pics.

ETA: alas, I can't find any. No Web site apparently. Jeez, I thought every chapter would have a site by now.

Yeah, it seems like FSU got an unfair amount of the better looking girls in the country . . no wonder my friends that went their had trouble graduating.

I guess FSU got most of the good looking sorority girls in the nation . . . Something my guidance counselor didn't mention.

Hmmm...

My guidance conselor was an FSU alum, and she always gave me a hard time about going to Nebraska (she was a huge football fan) and yet she never once showed me pictures like this to show the benefits of her alma mater...damn her.

I think DG at NCSU is doing pretty well also:

(sorry for the picture being so bright)

I was just going to put a few pictures...I think I got carried away...

No offense, but there are a lot of pretty girls at other schools. Only us guys are allowed to determine where the barbie girls come from for now. So far Florida has my vote and I think Cali probably has some barbies. Gentlemen, post away. Let's start comparing all the good and bad about these girls. Every imperfection needs to be pointed out!
