One day I was at a Sheetz that's a couple of miles down the road from my house in this pretty rural area, and I was casually just wearing a letter shirt. (It's in a super hick town so I wouldn't expect people to even know it was a fraternity shirt). This guy walked up to me and asked, "Are you an XYZ?" "Yeah, I'm at ___ University... are you a brother?" "Yes." "What chapter?"

It turned out he was from my chapter and was active about ten years ago. It was cool, but it was random to find a brother there. I couldn't chat with him too much though because he had his small child with him and looked pretty busy.

I'm also really active in the Republican Party, and I met an alumni at headquarters that is now one of my really good friends. It's cool to know that there is a network of brothers around pretty much anywhere you go.

On my flight to Chicago on Friday:

-There was a woman sitting across the aisle from me, and she had a red blanket with Alpha Phi letters on it.
-A woman sitting diagonal from me in the row in front of me was talking about being in a sorority, but I didn't hear which one.
-A guy in the row in front of the Alpha Phi was wearing a hat that said "Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraturday"

In Chicago Midway Airport on Sunday:

A woman with a tote bag that I believe had the letters Lambda Nu Theta. It was those letters, but I can't remember if that was right order.

Congresswoman, and past National President of Delta, Marcia L. Fudge, Esq. called the Michael Baisden show from the Cleveland job fair.

More on Marcia L. Fudge, Esq. and the job fair:

When they announced her, I OOO-OOP'd down the highway.

Last week, while standing in line for tickets for a tour of Fenway Park, there was a Lambda Theta Phi a few spots behind me. His shirt indicated he was from the Beta Sigma chapter. He appeared to be an alumnus.

On the tour was a Sigma Alpha Epsilon Pi.

And while driving to work this morning, I saw a Zeta Tau Alpha car window sticker.

Greek sightings on vacation:

- Alpha Epsilon Phi and Delta Zeta in Zion National Park
- Pi Kappa Alpha at the Paris buffet in Vegas
- an awesome Alpha Phi decal that integrated the Big Dipper into the letters -- on a car in our hotel parking lot in Cedar City. I hadn't seen a sticker like this before and now want one...BADLY!

Another vacation list:

-Sigma Chi sign for highway beautification
-Alpha Gam at Tanger Outlet
-Sigma Kappa at Liverpool Legends show

There was also a woman who noticed my ADPi ring and commented on it. I thanked her, but neglected to ask how she knew. Dumb, dumb, dumb!!

Ran into an Alpha Gamma Delta today at the local library. She was carrying a cute tote bag and had her 2 kids with her. She was initiated at Central Missouri

On my way back from Charlotte, on I-85 in South Carolina...saw a Delta Sigma Theta license plate frame, and a University of Mississippi Delta Delta Delta window decal.

On I75/85 about 1/2 mile from the GTech exit, passed a GTech AGD on the road but I couldn't get her attention. Traffic was heavy and I didn't want to distract her. Maybe I can get her attention at the Mock Recruitment party next week at the house!

Any chance of getting the photo from the professor and emailing it to me?
I can try and email her to see if she can send it to me! I'm positive it was donated, which I don't mind at all.
