Good luck to all the PNMs!

That's something new this year. The University has a started a mandatory orientation day on the Friday before classes start on Monday. I've been wondering if there will be more withdraws as PNMs have a chance to think and talk.

Not only that, but I feel for the young women dropped before preference who must now stick around campus instead of being able to leave to avoid the remainder of recruitment.

The other side of the coin is that they will meet new people (including male people )and find out about new things to do during Orientation. I'm guessing that is more the university's intention.

What, no English Springer Spaniel? I'll have to root for Beagle then (it's my husband's favorite breed).

GO ARIZONA!
Not technically supposed to be talking to you but just wanted to let you know I'll be reading your story! U of A has eleven amazing houses. Every single one is great. Keep an open mind because the tent talk is awful.
And feel free to read my recruitment story. Its linked in my signature.

Do you understand recruitment infractions and the UofA Panhellenic Policies about not contacting PNMs? You've posted in both UofA threads. This is pretty blatant and you do understand that there are a lot of UofA actives, alumnae and advisors monitoring GC, don't you?

Isn't this the school where they had infractions for this very reason last year?

There is probably a home football game on the day off. My daughter's school would do that also, so everyone could attend the game. It gets a bit tricky though because pnm's are not supposed to speak to active members and visa/versa! Just smile and say "hi", stuff like that.
Good luck to all of the pnm's. So looking forward to reading some great stories!

I honestly didn't think that posting on the boards was against those rules. I've posted in the Arizona ones obviously because I'm super excited about recruitment at my school!
And no, I had no idea that people were monitoring GC, but like I said, I also didn't think I was doing anything wrong.
I'll refrain from now on. My apologies.
