My alma mater only had two sororities at the time I attended. My first little sister was a legacy to the OTHER sorority on campus. I got to know her during rush and thought she was an awesome person. We knew she was a legacy and so I didn't want to hold out hope that she would become a Tri Sigma. Of course due to strict silence I couldn't discuss the issue with her so I didn't know how she was feeling. I found out later that her mother had been on a business trip to Virginia during the week of our rush. She made a trip to the Mabel Lee Walton house and sent her daughter postcards from Woodstock telling her to basically "follow your heart". I was so excited on bid day when I found out she had decided to be one of my sisters. I also had a great time playing "big sis" for the first time during clue week giving her hints to my identity.
