I realize it's been out for a few weeks, but for any of you with young children, Tangled is good. The kids loved it, and the adults were entertained as well. There was more singing than I expected, but it wasn't overdone*. There were more laugh out loud moments than I expected, which is always a nice surprise.
*Rapunzel's "mother" was a bit over the top, though.

I am hoping to see this one within the week! I am as crazy about Narnia as I am about LOTR, though I enjoy the books much better than the movies.
I also want to see Little Fockers when it comes out.

I saw Black Swan on Friday. I LOVED it. It was very well-done, and Natalie Portman was amazing. In my opinion, it was dramatic without crossing over into Lifetime territory. And there were some seriously creepy parts! The director is the same guy who directed Requiem for a Dream and it shows.

The Tourist 4 stars
Love Johnny Depp and Italy!!
What's Her Name was good too.
But there is no way I would believe Johnny was from where he said he was..with that accent, lol.(Looked on Wikipedia..would believe he actually grew up there!)

I'm seeing Tron with my mom tomorrow. I hope it's as good as it looks. I hate movies that show awesome previews, then when you see the actual movie, it sucks. That's so disappointing.

My mom and I just got back from seeing Tron. It was by far one of the best movies I've ever seen. I really enjoyed it and I thought the storyline was well thought out, and easy to understand. The special effects and sound were spectacular. I definitely give it 5 stars out of 5. A must see.

I saw True Grit this afternoon and it was really very good. I admit I had my doubts about a remake of this movie, but it was very well done.
I liked it a lot and I am not a big fan of westerns. I'd recommend it.

Last night my mom and I went to see The Black Swan. I give is 2 out of 5 stars. I didn't like it. There were a few creepy parts, but I was under the impression that it was going to be more of a thriller.
Today we saw The Fighter. I give it 1 star out of 5. It was horrible. I didn't know it was a true story, though.

True Grit - 4 out of 5 stars
This is a typical Coen Brothers film. The language/diction is very dramatic and the story line stays very close to the original. Jeff Bridges does a great job as Rooster Cogburn. Matt Damon is okay. Hailee Steinfield is great as Maddy Ross.
Not as violent as I thought it would/could be but definitely not light on violence. Surprisingly very little foul language in this film. Funny in certain sections. Definitely worth seeing.

Saw The Fighter: old theme well done. Melissa Leo and Christian Bale are amazing.
The King's Speech: wonderful. Colin Furth and Geoffrey Rush give a seemingly effortless performance. See it.
Made in Dagenham: English indy film. Absolutely fabulous. Film is about a time and place that most of us don't know/remember. See it.

I give Little Fockers 2 stars out of 5. I thought I would be laughing a lot, but I only chuckled at a few scenes and that was it. It wasn't very good, at all.

Just saw Little Fockers. There were some amusing scenes, but a lot of the jokes were overworked. I'll go 2 1/2 stars out of 5 only because my guy & his friends got too into the potty humor. But don't worry - the door has been left open for another Fockered Up movie!
REALLY want to see The King's Speech!!! Colin Firth is on "my list of three".
