Dominic Monaghan (Charlie) was the one who was in LOTR (not that I saw it, but that's what I found on the official website for Lost).

Yeah I recognized Dominic Monaghan b/c he was Merry the hobbit. I thought someone had said Sawyer was on LOTR b/c I don't remember ever seeing him & I've watched the movies numerous time.

I love this show & still wonder what's going on with that Danielle lady. She killed off the other members of her group b/c they were sick, or so she claims. As for her child Alex, one wonders if she killed him too or did he get lost.

Lost is back on tonight! In the commercials it shows the pregnant gal having complications with the pregnancy-what do we think will happen?

Ooo, oo, pick me pick me!

Wednesday's show was great - like we ever thought it wouldn't be?

I was a little creeped out by the psychic insisting that Claire had to raise the baby, otherwise great danger could come. It almost made me feel like he was making the baby to be some sort of demon-spawn or something

I thought the exact same thing. What I want to know is if he saw the plane crash or the other islanders that kidnapped her? Weird.

I'm not so convinced that the psychic's intentions were all that honorable....I'm thinking that he found a couple to adopt her baby in the States and he is getting a "finder's fee" that he isn't telling Claire.

I'm so glad Sayeed is BACK!

That Ethan guy is scary...eek!

So was Ethan the one who attacked Claire? Or was she just dreaming? Hmmm. I had a weird feeling about him from the beginning. On a random note, I read that the actor who plays him is Tom Cruise's cousin.

Nah, I think dude was right that the psychic knew the plane would crash. This kid must be something really scary if he'd knowingly put a woman on a plane doomed to crash, but who knows, maybe he also knew she'd get off the island eventually.

Am I the only one who thinks there's something kinda sexy about Sayid/Sayeed/however it's spelled?

I think it's actually spelled "Said" and the "i" would have an umlaut thingy on it (but pronounced Sa-eed or Sa-yeed)
I've seen Middle Eastern men spell it "Said".

Yeah, he has an exotic allure to him.

Did you miss the episode? If so...here goes.
To answer your question, we're not sure yet, but it looks that way. Basically Charlie was running to get Jack and ran into Ethan. So, he said to Ethan "GO GET JACK!" and Charlie ran back to tend to Claire, who was in the middle of the trail, having contractions. Then Charlie eventually gets Claire to her feet and they start walking back. Then Ethan shows up but instead of having Jack with him (who he has obviously NOT gone to get...evil!), he is alone. Then he gives them a creepy look and that's the end of the episode, but the foreshadowing points that he is up to no good and will do somehing EEEEV-UHL to them!

Oh wait...I just typed all that and now I realized that you meant the part where she was sleeping in the cave and dreaming about a guy with a needle.

Maybe Ethan is one of Danielle's colleagues who went nuts...remember? (I also think Danielle was nuts but I don't want to digress).

I am telling you, those people are on BLAIR WITCH ISLAND!

Yeah, CutiePie, I was just talking about the nightmare scene, but thanks for the recap anyways. I also think Ethan might be one of Danielle's crazy colleagues.

And I looked on abc.com and it's spelled "Sayid".
