Phi Mu was invited to colonize in Fall '14.

From speaking with FSL staff, I would say that TCU and Phi Mu have a mutual agreement that they will be next sorority on campus when the time is right. It may very well be 2014, but it may also be later. It will just depend when the administration gives the green light and if Phi Mu is ready at that time.
It seems like some people high up in the administration are a little cautious when it comes to expansion, but more so just to make sure the campus is moving forward at paced growth with Greek Life. Beta was very successful in their colonization this fall, and I'm sure AOII will do great as well.

Chico holds formal recruitment in the spring. Seems like a good plan, with a new chapter coming to Sonoma next year, holding off til Spring 14 will give enough time to promote and recruit two great new chapters. Congrats AOII!

Sigma Pi has closed its chapter at Illinois Wesleyan. The closure was due to circumstances surrounding the death of a member at an event in March.

Chico State
Who else presented at Chico State? I am a little surprised at this one to say the least.
Growing up, I was always under the impression that it was very big party school ruled by local fraternities. However, from this board, my opinions had since changed. I believe there is a Sigma Kappa from there that posts on here.
Tonight, while at a wine tasting, I started talking with a woman from the area whom, although she attended school out east, knew the school well. She said that things had not changed and mentioned a local fraternity that to this day is unrecognized. It is not even mentioned CSU-Chico's greek website.
What will AOII do for housing at Chico?
*please don't flame me on this.

Chico State is one of the more selective state schools.
It is well known for construction management, IT and retail management.
Yes, the party reputation has validity, but it has become known more for
these majors, and the relative selectivity.
