NPC groups

Does anyone know where I can find a list of all orgs that were ever in the NPC? That is, including those that folded, dropped out, turned into locals, or merged with other groups. I know of a couple but I'm sure I'm missing some.

If it's in Baird's, great, I've been looking for an excuse to buy that anyway!

In my copy of Baird's (from 1968, so a little outdated!), the NPC groups listed are:

Alpha Chi Omega
Alpha Delta Pi
Alpha Epsilon Phi
Alpha Gamma Delta
Alpha Omicron Pi
Alpha Phi
Alpha Sigma Alpha
Alpha Sigma Tau
Alpha Xi Delta
Chi Omega
Delta Delta Delta
Delta Gamma
Delta Phi Epsilon
Delta Zeta
Gamma Phi Beta
Iota Alpha Pi
Kappa Alpha Theta
Kappa Delta
Kappa Kappa Gamma
Phi Mu
Phi Sigma Sigma
Pi Beta Phi
Sigma Delta Tau
Sigma Kappa
Sigma Sigma Sigma
Theta Phi Alpha
Zeta Tau Alpha

If you can get your hands on a more current copy it'll tell you what happened to Iota Alpha Pi.

I would recommend asking NPC if they have this info. Another option is to go to the main public library in your city and look through all the Baird's manuals from 1902, since that was the year NPC started. Usually, the main branch will have 6 or more old Baird's manuals -- the older ones are really interesting to look at!

Per Baird's...Iota Alpha Pi, founded at Hunter College in March 1903, was the oldest national sorority founded by Jewish women. The national organization disbanded in 1971. Total estimated membership May 31, 1967 was 6,300 with 13 active and 10 inactive chapters.
