Hello Greekchatters and/or recruitment story addicts! I’m a lurker (and recruitment story addict) who has been waiting and waiting for months to finally tell my own recruitment story! Even though I want to keep things a discreet as possible, I’m going to be honest and provide a little bit of background information, just to keep the story consistent. I’m going through recruitment now, but I’ll be posting sporadically in case someone at my school reads this and can identify me.
I go to a somewhat big public school in the north with a decent sized Greek system. At the end of my story, I will reveal my school to those who are curious (if you have already figured out my location, which you may have, please keep it secret). My school has 8 sororities. I am obsessed with the show The Voice on NBC, plus, I don’t recall ever seeing this theme done before on here so I will be naming each of the sororities after judges on the show! They are:
Team Adam
Team Blake
Team Usher
Team Christina
Team Shakira
Team Cee-Lo
Team Gwen
Team Pharrell
My school also has 4 different rounds of recruitment which I will also name after rounds on The Voice! The rounds are:
The Blind Auditions (aka Sisterhood day)
The Battle Rounds (aka House tours)
The Knockout Rounds (aka Philanthropy day)
The Live Shows (aka Preference day)
And finally, we have The Finale! (aka Bid Day!)
