This is so sad. I know her family, friends, and sisters are having to deal with a lot right now. It's heartwarming how the campus came together to support the Kappas during this time.
You know what makes me upset about this story is that her death might have been prevented. Maybe if she had been wearing her seatbelt like the other people, then she would be alive, too.
Delta is my home chapter, and the past 24 hours have been tough.
I would not encourage speculation on what could have been done differently to change the outcome... it's a little hard to swallow right now, and none of us was there or knows the actual circumstances, etc.
I ask you all to keep Delta chapter and the Crouse family in your thoughts and prayers.
I didn't mean to upset you. When a person dies who clearly should not have (and I mean from the guy who smashed their car, not the seatbelt thing), then I try to find a way to understand and deal with it. I was just thinking aloud and I truly did not wish to hurt anyone with my opinion. My apologies again.
