Things are going well from what I've heard and numbers were strong last weekend. Between 700-800 were registered going into Saturday, but I don't know how many actually showed up. The return rates for Sunday's house tours round were*VERY* encouraging. Sounds like Recruitment is off to a fantastic start at OSU!

The weather this weekend sounds lousy for Philanthropy and Pref rounds...let's hope it holds off until after the parties for once!!!

Oh--a huge round of applause to OSU's Panhellenic and Greek Life staff for implementing the use release figures this year! SnowLady, you read that RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!

How different are the release figures from the ones I recieved? We've been given them before and had to stick to them. What's different this time?

Bid Day was last Tuesday. About 700 girls signed up for recruitment but only about 330 went through. This is very typical for Ohio State. The first weekend of rounds had very nice whether but the last weekend was so cold! Those poor girls were troopers! I'm not quite sure about numbers for all of the houses. I know that Kappa Delta(Yay!) took 23. And I know that Kappa Delta, Kappa Kappa Gamma, and Kappa Alpha Theta are the only houses that reached total. I thought, overall, that recruitment went rather well!

Hope this helps

Sorry that I didn't include this before. Fraternity recruitment basically has no structure at Ohio State. The different houses have events at their houses and at places like BW3's and they give the guys that they like bids. My boyfriend just got a bid and wasn't even rushing. He's just friends with a bunch of the guys. I'm jealous of the laid back way the guys do things

Just out of curiosity, who has the ADPi house now?

OSU now owns the former ADPi house, and FIJI moved in last fall. They have been wonderful neighbors (our house is right next door, if you didn't guess.)

KDBuckeye... Hey I was wondering what total is? and how Pi Phi did, since I haven't heard yet! I know going into recruitment they had over 75 members, so I am wondering how far off total (I think it is 100) the chapter is?

My roommate is an accompanist to a voice teacher here at Otterbein, and apparently, she's not only a Delta Delta Delta, but she's the OSU Tri-Delt House mom! small world.
