Question Sigma Nu jewelry on Ebay

Hey Snus, I happened to see the Sigma Nu cufflinks on Ebay and thought one of you guys might be able to answer a question about them. They look old and I was wondering if any of you might be able to date them. I wanted to get them for my dad (Gamma Alpha Chapter, Georgia Tech) but they don't bear any resemblance to the cufflinks from the Masters of Design website listed as official fraternity jewelry. Has anybody seen anything like this before?

My response is definitely too late, but I'll tell you this -- back in the day, fraternal jewelry was done as a custom job quite often -- badges were fairly standardized, but a few custom jobs are out there. If you ever go to Grand Chapter or College of Chapters, track down brother Tony Marable and ask him about his collection, he'll definitely have some great stuff on hand.

Also, if you managed to win those cufflinks, he's the guy you might want to ask about them.

Not sure if this the only Sigma Nu Ebay Thread, but is this Sigma Nu coat of arms item on ebay really a paperweight or is it a plaque of some sort? http://www.ebay.com/itm/FRATERNITY-U...gAAOSwiYFXHRHM Also, anyone know what size it would be? The seller hasn't answered any questions regarding this item.

Looks like a paperweight. I haven't seen one though.
