It's not a song associated with Rachel or Friends. It's a Lumineers' song a member re-worked the words to sing the praises of the chapter.

Is Carol, the musty house a thing? I think I remember reading about it (or another house that smelt bad) in a past UCLA story

It's due to their A/C system they rent during Recruitment -- it's not all year.
