Definitely a smart decision. Can't wait to hear updates on extension at App State!

I'm super excited about this! I'm in the Boone, NC area quite frequently and my boyfriend's mother is the Membership Advisor for ADPi (and a Charter Member!) at App.
She mentioned that I believe Tri-Sig/Tri-Delt/Something Tri and Alpha Gam were possibly involved...that is about all she knew at the time...
I would love to have an Alpha Gam chapter at our rival school!

PRESENTATIONS!!!
You guys ready for some new news?? I am kind of surprised that someone didn't beat me to the punch. There will be two definite presentations at Appalachian. There is the possibility of a third group, if it can be arranged on short notice. The groups presenting for sure will be..............
ALPHA OMICRON PI
and
ZETA TAU ALPHA
Zeta's presentation will be next week on the 17th. I am unsure of the specific date for AOPi. The third group has not been announced yet. I absolutely could not be more thrilled!! LET'S GO 'NEERS!

That's great news - ZTA just joined the campus four years ago.

ASU
My daughter, who is in a sorority at ASU, just called and told me that AOPi was chosen to colonize there this fall.

It is true that Alpha Omicron Pi is coming. Someone told me they are contacting the organization tomorrow to make it official! Woo hoo!
And although I'm extremely late to this board I want to say that at Appalachian there are three sororities UNDER total right now, not just one... AOPi is going to have a lot of women to choose from because I think a lot of women were having trouble finding their place in the Greek system here.

You are exactly right AppGreek, My best friend is in Phi Mu there and they are only 10 or so members away from total. They aren't the smallest on campus anymore by any means.
go phi mu~ love, honor truth.
