Woohoo for your bf's dad!!! hehe.

I heard Sig Ep at FSU got booted for something, and that the local PD patrols their new house over in the Grove to keep them from breaking in. Crazy stuff !

Both Sig Ep and ATO were immediately suspended this semester for suspicion of hazing (they both have houses in Heritage Grove) I'm not sure if they have had their judicial board hearings yet, but the University immediately took the letters of their houses. Sig Ep's incident was reported in the paper, and the evidence against them is indisputable, so their situation is grim. I've been out of the loop for a couple weeks, so those situations may have been resolved already.

I don't know if anyone posted sorority pics from Northwestern U., but they pretty much all look the same. The houses are physically linked together and use the same stone. The size is similar too with 3-4 stories and sleeping 30-45 people depending on size and room size. Here, the houses are really judged by the interiors, some of the nicest I have seen anywhere (including 15+ million dollar mansions - yay friends with serious money!). Needless to say, they are very plush and even the bathrooms are done in all marble with crystal chandeliers and impeccable hardware. Many of the houses are redone completely every 7 years by admission.

The fraternity houses have the same type of connected thing, except they are all brown/red brick. The interiors are similar with wood chair rail or panneling and cream walls. Size is similar with 4 stories for the ones in the quads and 3 for ones not. The ones not in the quads are smaller in capacity. They are all brick though!

Ah-Hem... Go 'Cats!

I'm pretty sure the Beta house has it's own house and is not connected to other orgs. like many of the other houses. If I recall, when I was there, ZBT also had it's own as well. Although, the Beta house looks like a big blocky dorm....

I was only able to verify the SAE's at Emory... Some alumni needs to buy those other chapters a digital cam

SAE at Emory - The fraternity's pool, one of few in the country, was built in the 1970s by brothers then in the house. The most recent renovation of the house was completed in 1997. Currently 30 brothers call 18 Fraternity Row home.
