Questions on Informal...

So, Chi Omega is colonizing at my school this semester, and I JUST came from my "get to know you" session. I think I got pretty close with some of the marketing team girls last semester, and the girl who will be staying on campus with us this next semester (or probably all year), as we colonize. I interviewed with the Director today, and I'm SO NERVOUS. Does this mean anything or am I just racked with nerves?

You're just racked with nerves. I would imagine they just randomly assign interviews. Relax and enjoy the process.

It probably doesn't. A number of people within a sorority conduct colony interviews, and generally, the person you interview with is a matter of who is available. Our Assistant Directors have done colony interviews before.

It's a TEAM effort with our Colonizing Team. Everyone from the 1st year team members to the Directors conduct the interviews. I believe (even) our national president has interviewed PNMs in past colonizations.

Good luck and update GC on your process!

I do not mean to sound snarky, but it would probably be a good idea to drop the "we" and "us" from your conversations and posts. Sounds like you assume you are already a member and that can get you in trouble with those who are.

Congratulations!!! How exciting! Enjoy your time as a colonizer. Did you receive your bid at the preference party as some groups have done?

Thank you so much guys! We were told last night at the preference party that we were going to be the founding sisters, but we just picked up our official bid cards an hour ago! At noon today is when we officially have the ceremony and what not!
