Movie “Life Of the Party” — divorced mom goes back college, joins sorority

Divorced mom goes back to college — same school as her daughter. Starring Melissa McCarthy. Looks like she joins the sorority, Omega Mu Gamma (OMG). Looks funny.

Filmed in Atlanta, so probably at an older university like either GA Tech, Emory, Spelman or Agnes Scott. Campus buildings do not look like Oglethorpe (renaissance architecture and not many tall buildings), Kennesaw State (more modern) or Clark Atlanta (not enough tall buildings). Definitely not Georgia State and doesn’t look like the architecture of Morehouse.

The scene at 44 seconds with the gold and green pillows is Theta Mu Gamma, not Omega Mu Gamma. (See the Coffee cup that Anne Hathaway is holding).

On the other hand at 1:04, there is a Delta Tau Omicron sign on the wall.

As for where, the outside scene at 1:29 is at Agnes Scott. Compare to the building in the picture at https://www.agnesscott.edu/admission/visit/index.html

However

http://www.atlantamagazine.com/news-...lm-in-georgia/

says they did filming at Clayton State as well.

My new favorite word... Vagoogle!!! BWAHAHA! Too bad it isn't really Omega Mu Gamma. That would have worked!

I don't think that's Anne Hathaway.

Did you hear them pronounce it like Theta Moo Gamma? I caught it a couple of times, and it drove me crazy!

My APO chapter prefers "Moo" to "Mew."

It's not. It's Gillian Jacobs (Community) who looks a lot like Anne Hathaway.
