Ohh man I love reading this thread I currently have my big's white gold quill, am waiting for my plain yellow gold one to arrive, and am coveting the double blue stones/yellow gold one. I do believe you all have got me wanting a fire opal one though- a girl can dream!

A college student budget doesn't exactly lend itself to buying a whole bunch of pins. ) I've been dressing up so I can wear it; I love it so much. In fact, I'm wearing it right now! Here's a picture:
It's alternating amethysts and pearls. I left the guard out on purpose for privacy reasons; it's plain, nothing too fancy. I'm so happy the amethysts actually look purple in this picture; in a certain light, they look more blue than purple. That's what you get with synthetic amethysts, I guess. Still, I truly love my pin, and I'm so happy to finally have it!

I love this - I'm a big fan of amethysts, and I like the alternating pearl/colored stone pins. Nice!

Yesterday at our Founders' Day reception, we had a couple charter members there, and I asked our founding president to give me a picture of her charter pin. I think it's lovely.

Not "badges," but...
I just absolutely love these Chi Omega demitasse spoons that are in the Chi Omega HQ museum in Memphis. They are from Kappa Chapter (Univ. of Nebraska):

Just an ordinary Chi Omega badge?
What's different about this one?

Yes, it's a miniature Chi Omega badge with only 9 pearls. Our badge was not standardized until 1906, so some of the early badges were different sizes and had stones other than pearls & diamonds.
