Louisville Shooting

Connor Sturgeon, the shooter in the massacre in Louisville today, was a 23 yr old young man. He is described as popular, smart and a star athlete in track, football, and basketball. Not the usual sullen, withdrawn young person who was bullied and had no friends. He did suffer several concussions during his years as an athlete.

One article I read said that he attended the University of Alabama and intended to pursue "the SEC frat life." No idea which fraternity he might have been a member of.

He had concussions when young and wore a helmet in 8thgrade to play basketball. His father was the HS coach.

Holy cow. How many concussions do you have to have had to wear a helmet for basketball? Did it not cross anyone’s mind that maybe playing sports wasn’t a good idea?

How terrible. I pray for the victims and their families. Sadly, the governor of Kentucky had a friend who was murdered in the shooting and knew many others affected by it.

I’m on a staycation this week and I’m sitting in a packed coffee shop right now. Eventually, one of these is going to get hit. There are several demented people right now planning a mass shooting that can legally purchase an assault rifle.
