Rushing as a senior

I know this has been asked multiple times already but my case is a bit different.
I know that one of the main reasons why seniors won't rush is their age. However, I started college when I was only 16, and now I am a 19 year old senior. I have considered rushing a fraternity ever since sophomore year, but I simply had too many problems back then. I have friends in a lot of fraternities, but since this is my last year in college, I want to make the most of it by joining a fraternity. Just don't want to regret not doing it 10 years later.
So what are potential drawback of rushing in my case?
And should I rush at all?

--Thanks!

Talk to your friends and see if they are encouraging. They should know if it's possible or unusual, or unlikely given your school and the particular fraternities. My oldest son was also young in college, so I am familiar with the situation....joining a fraternity at 16 might not be appealing. You have nothing to lose by investigating. Good luck.
