Here's the scene of the crime, ladies and gentlemen. Not the best photo, but the hands are quite clearly off-center on both planes of symmetricality, and I can lift the hands with my fingernail on one side-they're not even fully attached! When I'm done with my homework for tomorrow HJ is getting a post on their page like they won't believe.

Also I've photographed the rest of my badges but that too will have to wait until homework is done.

I can't see it!

Clemsongirl- although the hands being off like that is completely unacceptable, I do love your red-white-blue jewel pattern! Really makes the badge stand out beautifully.

What a shame. I'm still mad at them for the crappy job they did on my sister' badge and badge holder. Post it on their FB page. That seems to get a quick response.

Does anyone have the cushion cut ring with sorority crest from HJ Greek? I've been thinking about getting one, but am not so sure after seeing the quality issues in this thread. The only other piece I have from HJ Greek is my badge, and I haven't had any problems with it.

Thank you! It's our Convention limited-edition badge because our convention was in Dallas this year. Here are some pictures of my badges that I currently own:

1954 badge from University of Utah:

1967 opal badge from the University of Oregon:

Notice how the opal on the right side is chipped flat.

1998 badge from Villanova University:

All together:

The hands on the 1998 really stand up/out. What a difference in each one.

Why am I the only one who can't see the red white and blue one?! Love the others. Let me know when you get home for the summer. We're storming Balfour.

Xidelt - I have a few cushion rings.... I don't know if they're HJ or Balfour, but mine are all fine

I'm coming up for spring break March 17-21 if those days work! I want a tour and a personal apology for my wonky-handedness. Fortunately they got back to me on their Facebook page.

Can you see it now?

I think I like the yellow gold better than the white gold with the red and blue!

I hope the ring my mom bought me and my chased letter guard are in good shape when they finally arrive to me…I'm excited about finally having more ΣΑΙ accessories than just my badge, and if HJ spoils my fun…

I have a new pin! It's from Florida State University. The date is 1948.

I love the red, white, and blue pin with the yellow gold! I had only seen it with white gold and really wasn't that impressed, but WOW! It looks great on the yellow gold.

I must admit that I've never cared for the raised hands. I think I have two pins with them, but it's the main reason why I mostly collect the vintage pins. Too many of them have the wonky hands! I don't know whether it's because of the hands, or because of the manufacturer, but I do miss Balfour!

Thanks, y'all! I like it so much better with the yellow gold than the white gold, too. I may have just purchased my first white gold badge off of that site so when it comes in more pictures will appear. HJ sent me an online label to print so I could send my badge back to them for repair. They have been very prompt about making the wonkiness right, so I do have to give them credit for that.
