calling all GC Brides (or bridesmaids)

Hi all - I need some advice. My friend is getting married next month and is trying to pick a bouquet toss song. I didn't even know there was supposed to be one!

Can anyone give some suggestions on cute songs to play for this time???

I never heard of a bouquet toss song, but the first thing that came to mind for me was "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun"... unless it's supposed to be more serious.

I haven't heard of one either, but the wedding I was just in at the beginning of the month played "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" as the bachelorettes were making their way to the floor for the toss.

Has anyone ever heard of a garter toss song? (I wonder what one would play for that!)

They always played The Stripper dance song during that part in my family.. while he's taking the garter off his bride's leg, when he throws it and then when the guy who catches it puts on the leg of the gal who caught the bouquet.

I just got married 2 weeks ago - and I honestly don't remember having a bouquet toss song played. I'm sure the DJ put something on, but it was probably just background music.

People still do bouquet and garter tosses? I haven't seen either of those in years.

We had a bouquet toss at our wedding, but no garter toss. Every wedding I've been to has had both.

Top Bouquet & Garter Songs

I found this website & these are the songs that they have listed as top songs to play during the bouquet & garter toss.
Hope this helps!

At my wedding, my bouquet toss song was "Ready to Run" by the Dixie Chicks.

The garter toss song was the Monday Night Football Theme.

Good luck with your choice!

Bouquet toss was "girls just want to have fun"

Garter toss was "Legs" by ZZ Top
