Going to the Vera Bradley outlet sale in 2 weeks. I'm hope to see some letters.
I'll be road tripping there with my friend who is a Pi Phi alumna from Clemson

at my local Target yesterday, chatted with 2 young ladies. One was wearing a Sigma Kappa shirt. She was from Truman State. The other was wearing a Pi Phi t-shirt. She is a Wake Forest Pi Phi alumna

While walking through the Arboretum at UNC Chapel Hill, I saw a KKG. I didn't get a chance to talk to her though.

Happy to say that I did this morning.
I was at my internship and was riding an elevator while running an errand, and noticed our badge on one of the women in the same elevator and introduced myself to her. She was a sister from out of state but was thrilled to meet a fellow sister.

Sure, it's cool to spot letters on the back of someone's car on the freeway or to see a kid in a fraternity sweatshirt in the mall; but, things like that aren't really a surprise.
I would like to nominate myself for the 2013 "Most genuinely unexpected place for finding your letters somewhere you didn't expect" award.
How about a gun brochure?
Yeah, you heard me. A gun brochure.
Today I was looking over a brochure sent to me by the National Shooting Sports Foundation advertising their "First Shots" program. As I glanced across the photographs, I noticed this:
The instructor is wearing a Gamma Phi Beta Moonstruck 2011 t-shirt. I'm not 100% certain, but the girl looks like her shirt might also say "Moonstruck" on it.
How random!
Thank you....I will be back on January 1, 2014 to collect my plaque and floral presentation.
.....Kelly

Walking back from my apartment complex's gym, I saw a car with an Alpha Gamma Delta license plate frame. I live about 15 minutes from NC State, and I know they do not have an AGD chapter there...but they may be a Tarhole from that school up the interstate and pledged there (that chapter is closed).

Not Cool.
Saw a Sigma Kappa from UT-Chattanooga texting while driving on I-75 S in North Georgia yesterday!

I found out a couple weeks ago that a Theta sister works a couple doors down from me at work! Once we figured that out and got to talking, we also discovered that our dad's were both in Sigma Chi together at UK!

We have pretty large and active alumnae chapter in the Raleigh area of which I am a member. Though, it wasn't me you spotted.
The Gamma Epsilon Chapter (@ UNC) closed in June 1965, so if she were initiated there it was quite a long time ago.

Met my husband for something to eat at Moe's and walked by a car on our way out that had ADPi window decal in their car window.
Then drove across the street to Joann Fabrics and parked next to a car with a Chi Omega window decal.

Since we're back to the fun...
A Proud Mom wearing a BGSU (OH) tshirt at the laundromat; her car had BGSU and a Delta Tau Delta stickers, too.
and
A Proud Purdue Dance Team DG with stickers for both orgs on her car at the library.
