Thanks for saving me the trouble of having to look it up. I didn't post it earlier because I didn't remember the Greek part.  My husband should be happy, btw, I'm sure this is modern instead of classic Greek (given the source). He is Greek and complains all the time that we pronounce things wrong or that words don't mean that anymore...blah blah blah.

The University of Maine has suspended Sigma Nu for 5 years. I have not been able to find if Sigma Nu's national offices have pulled the chapter's charter.

In better news, Sigma Nu has recently rechartered two dormant chapters. The rechartered chapters are at Colorado State University-Fort Collins and Duquesne University(PA). Congratulations to the new members.

According to Alpha Gamma Delta's website, they will be colonizing at the University of South Carolina in Fall '12.
(Had this been previously announced as a stacked colonization and I forgot?)

They will stay closed under all the current members graduate.

Some recent and future charterings:
Zeta Tau Alpha chartered its colony at Vanderbilt University(TN).
Pi Lambda Phi chartered its colony at Western Carolina University(NC).
Alpha Omicron Pi will charter their colonies at Bryant University(RI) on April 14, Oklahoma State University on April 22, and California State University-San Marcos on May 5.
Sigma Chi will charter their colonies at Loyola University of Chicago and Boise State University(ID) in the upcoming months.
Congratulations to all the groups and all the new members.

From the Cleveland Area Panhellenic newsletter:
" Pi Beta Phi is excited to announce they will be colonizing at Case Western Reserve University in the fall of 2012. Pi Phi submitted extension materials to the University's expansion committee in 2007 and at that time, was selected as the next chapter to join when the campus was again ready for extension. This spring, they received news from Case Western that their community was ready for a new chapter."
