advice for expanding to make a chapter

hi im hoping to make a chapter of kappa delta at my school (brooklyn college). any advice? what should i expect ? and if we are given a chapter what do we do from there? HELPPPP!

Hi, welcome to Greekchat!

I for one would LOVE to see a chapter at Brooklyn College- we could definately use some more northeastern chapters.

My best advice is to sort through greekchat for threads on expansion.... there's a TON of them over in the Greek Life and Rush forums.

Make sure to talk to the greek advisor at your school.

Our forum here doesn't get a ton of traffic, so you may want to make a post over in one of the main forums, they can give you more advice.

I'm not sure if we have any founding members of a KD chapter here on GC..... but I know there are founding members of other sororities, and the process is pretty much the same.
