Isn't BGSU a re-charter? I have a friend who was in that chapter and is now a professor at BG. I'm sure he will be involved as an alum.

Deferred Revocation of Registration*
Pi Beta Phi and Beta Theta Pi
Social Restrictions (new term for Social Probation):
3 sororities and 1 fraternity. This status limits the number of events a chapter can hold but does not prohibit all events
Chapters formerly on social restrictions but still on a Disciplinary Probation:
1 sorority and one fraternity
Chapters where all charges have been removed:
One Fraternity
*Defererred Revocation of Registration - This sanction means the charge could have been grounds for removal, however enough mitigating factors were in place (the chapter has shown a willingness to work with the university and their headquarters to better their members and ensure situations like this do not happen again). If the chapter were to have another incident that would show a failure to comply with their sanction, the University could remove the chapter from being a recognized organization.
The needle keeps moving!

Alpha Tau Omega has been moved added to Deferred Revocation of Registration (Pi Phi and Beta continue at that status). No other changes this week.

Yes, I had posted it a few pages back. It's basically, "this is your last chance".
Because there were so many groups breaking University rules but of different levels of egregiousness, the University came up with something between "Social Restrictions" (new name for Social Probation and the restrictions vary from case to case) and "No Longer Recognized" (kicked off campus)
Defererred Revocation of Registration - This sanction means the charge could have been grounds for removal, however enough mitigating factors were in place (the chapter has shown a willingness to work with the university and their headquarters to better their members and ensure situations like this do not happen again). Mea Culpa. I am doing what I get on to my students about all the time. Thank you for re-stating what it means.

If a sorority used to be there and had a rough time, it's hard to decide to come back. Deep Southerners have long memories.

Gonna guess they were making sure the chapters were near or at total before bringing the new group on.
It's cool that Alpha Chi will be starting up at Ole Miss next year and then Mississippi State the year after.

Delta Sigma Phi at Mizzou.
https://www.kshb.com/news/local-news...s-indefinitely
Their housing changed over the years -- 805 Richmond from 1930-1935. When I was in school they were kitty-corner at 600 E. Hitt (AEPhi was at 805). Delta Sig returned to 805 sometime in the past 20 years. [It would be interesting to do a title search for these properties. The Mizzou Phi Mu house was occupied by Lambda Chi for decades but when Phi Mu recolonized (after a 50+ year hiatus) they moved back.)

The University of Iowa chapter of Acacia Fraternity has been closed. Closure is due to hazing and RMF.

Subjecting new members to this is horrible. This is not brotherhood.

LaneSig, I want to thank you for keeping this thread active! I rarely add anything, but do appreciate knowing what's up with GLO chapters!
