LOL... I don't know! I guess it's because I was a new member and was reading my Arrow like 123456 times over!

But yeah - three is definitely an unprecedented number of colonies for Pi Phi in one year, at least in recent memory!

Congrats to Pi Phi for getting invited to colonize at MIT. The students are fabulous and you will have wonderful choices from which to select your sisters!

Something tells me there aren't many first round recruitment cuts at MIT based on high school grades!!

Somehow I think you're right. It's all the kids scoring below a 2300 who get axed.

Actually, I was very impressed with the Panhel Recruitment campaign that were mentioned on GC a couple of months ago. There were posters around campus profiling MIT actives in a variety of academic fields of study.

This is odd.

I called the Office of Greek Life and was told that no selection had been made yet as to what GLO's would be invited to present.

I'm not doubting you. I'm just confused.

I read something today in the news that I found interesting. Apparently Elmhurst College has required for their only local sorority, Gamma Chi, to affiliate with a National sorority or become an organization.
