I looked at Abraham Baldwin's website and saw that while Kappa Sig and AGR have been selected as the first fraternities, no sororities have been selected yet. I hope that something happens soon!

Alpha Sigma Alpha presented to the local sorority at Utah Valley University. The sorority has voted and is waiting on official word.

Which one? They have two groups of women.
Never mind, it is the one that called themselves Kappa Kappa Gamma, then was mentioned in their student paper as wanting to be Kappa Delta. Just seems like a real late time for a presentation since school is out.

I just wanted to note that University of Colorado-Boulder has had our Acacia chapter since Spring 2008. I'm excited about Phi Tau coming back. I know that there is supposed to be another fraternity (re)colonization in the Spring, but I'm not sure who it is.

JMU is a great school for Greek Life. My absolute fave past Sigma LC is from our chapter there.

Phi Sigma Kappa has closed its chapter at Georgia Southern University. The closure is due to RMF.

It's official:
The National Council of Delta Zeta Sorority is proud to announce that Delta Zeta was selected to colonize at the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho. Our colonization efforts will begin in Spring 2011.
We are excited about this addition to the Delta Zeta sisterhood and look forward to establishing a chapter at the University of Idaho!

Yay for the Macon Magnolia Duo!
Let's see...There is the Macon Magnolia Duo and the Syracuse Triad. Are there any other "groups" I should know about that someone wants to clue me in on?

^ Kappa & Pi Phi are the Monmouth Duo. There's also the Farmville Four- Sigma Sigma Sigma, Kappa Delta, Alpha Sigma Alpha, Zeta Tau Alpha.

Perfect! Thank you! I'm going to try and add all this to my signature or whatever to keep track of it. I love that they have these names on here! It makes me smile! Thank you for the information!

Anyone know when Elon will be announcing which new fraternity will be colonizing? Are the presentations over? I'm certainly bias and hoping Delt can get another chapter in NC!

The presentations were completed at the very end of April (the 28th, I think). School let out shortly after that. I believe its scheduled to be announced in late August when the students return to campus.

1. DePauw Duo -- Theta and Alpha Chi
2. Not exactly a group in the sense of sharing a "founding campus," but at some schools there are traditionally formals, semi-formals, or other parties dubbed "Kite and Key," for Theta and Kappa, with Ben Franklin (at least theoretically) as a "theme."

Seņores! Surely you have not forgotten the Monmouth Duo? Pi Phi and Kappa were both founded at Monmouth College and they celebrate that at most colleges that have both sororities!
