zeta psi in vancouver?

Is the Sigma Epsilon chapter of Zeta Psi (University of British Columbia) active? I know the chapter was shut down a few decades ago but I found a website but it looks like it's somewhat recent (latest date I can find is 2002).

Zeta Psi is not active at UBC.

Did they try to come back and it just didn't work out?

(Sorry if this is bothersome! My dad was a member of that chapter waaaay back when and I was interested in whether they had come back or not)

I don't honestly know. I'm a chapter advisor for one of the sororities at UBC, and none of the present members of the chapter remembers Zeta Psi.

Our website zetapsi.org lists them as being inactive since 1994. However I do know they were present at UBC as of about 2002, at that point they were trying to recruit enough men to get the chapter back to what it once was. I remember when I was living in Calgary a few years ago the Chi Gamma chapter of Zeta Psi was trying to get ahold of them and had little luck. Shortly after that we found out that they were no longer active. I do know that there are many people around the city that are alumni and that would love to see the chapter be started up again. It is really too bad that they are not active in BC. As Zeta Psi is by far Canada's biggest fraternity. (hopefully by this summer we will be chartering another chapter of Zeta Psi in Ontario)

If there is a group of Zetes in Vancouver that are ready to organize as an elder group or reactivate the chapter, I will come there to help.
