Rushing UCLA as a Sophomore

I'm getting ready to start my second year at UCLA and am strongly considering rushing. I didn't rush last year for a couple reasons, mainly because I wanted to focus on school and because I didn't think I was ready for it maturity wise (I didn't turn 18 until the end of fall quarter). However, now that I've grown a bit and made some friends who are involved in the greek system I definitely want to rush.
Is it significantly more difficult to get a bid as a second year (especially at the more notable fraternities)? Are some fraternities more open to giving bids to sophomores than others?
Thanks for the advice!

Not from UCLA, but living in California and having seen UCLA's Greek Life scene, here's some general advice:

* Sophomores are usually considered desirable since they have three solid years to contribute to the organization. The extra bit of maturity you gained in freshman year may actually help.
* The best chapter for you is the one that you fit in the most. The notability / reputation won't be of any advantage to you if you don't fit in.
* Explore your choices and hope for the best. Do what feels right.

What I'm basically saying is: your circumstances are actually quite common, and you should simply make the best of rush and hope for the best. Good luck!
