transfer question

hello DG's! i just had a random question. I was wondering what your nationals policy is on transfering from one chapter to another. Does it vary from chapter to chapter, or is there a national consensus on this? thanks so much!

I know that at UF, DG just put it in their bylaws that they don't have to accept transfer sisters. So I believe it probably varies from chapter to chapter.

I know of a few other chapters that don't have to take transfers either. Some of the larger chapters don't want to take a transfer if she's not compatible with the house, because that's one less woman they can take during recruitment. sad but true.
