Convention 2015

The 2013 convention in San Diego was wonderful. See the highlights here: http://ow.ly/mGGsM Listen to former Grand President Sis Mullis. She has attended every convention since she was initiated in 1962. Start making plans to attend the 2015 convention in Chicago. We haven't had a convention in Chicago since the Centennial celebration in 1967.

We're very close to Chicago...I could spring for generallygreek to go! I went to our Convention the first time as a collegian (also in Chicago), and I'd love for her to have that experience.

We'll be in Chicago in 2016. You'll have to let me know how it is.

That would be wonderful. And depending how close you are to Chicago, a side trip to Momouth may be in order. There is nothing like standing in the room where 10 of the 12 gathered and took an oath to conceal and never reveal the origins.

I will do that!

And the funny thing is that I might be able to take a train to convention. I will, however, be a party of one, and it will not be as much fun as a special convention train.

The highlight video was spectacular! It looked like a lot of fun for all. I especially like that they showed SC Beta's banner in the Parade of Banners-hope that chapter can come back to campus soon

Any chapter that still has living alumnae has their banner in the banner parade, so SC Beta's banner will be in many, many more banner parades. And I hope it is back soon, too.

I cannot express how excited I am to have convention in my home state! I've already made plans with a few of my pledge class sisters to head up there for convention!

I'm another that will likely be able to take a train up to Convention. And I definitely recommend that those who have time take a side trip out to Holt House in Monmouth. It's where I was initiated, and where the first initiation I attended as an AAC member was. It truly is astounding to see.

Also, I love Sis. She is our chapter's probation assistance officer, and she is such an excellent example for our women of the "Pi Phi for Life" lesson.
