Saw a young lady in a lettered ZTA t-shirt at King of Prussia Mall on Saturday. I think she was from the West Chester (PA) chapter.

At the Yosemite National Park Visitors Center yesterday I saw a woman with a medium-blue backpack that said "Kappa" in dark blue letters. I nearly asked the woman where she was a Kappa when I saw that her husband had the same backpack and that they were speaking German. But the colors are right!

[Tried to upload a picture but I still can't make it work.]

Saw a cute mom in an AKA shirt at the kids' gymnastics class this morning.

Her shirt was black with rhinestone letters. I sort of want one now.

I was watching "Barbecue Paradise 2" on Travel Channel last night and a guy was wearing a "Zeta Tau Alpha: A Texas Tradition" tank top. And it looked like a muscle shirt. ????!!

It also had big ZTA letters across the chest that were like the Texas flag. Cute.

Here's why their backpacks said Kappa.

I did the Making Strides against Breast Cancer walk this past weekend in SF with some fellow AOIIs and saw tons of letters.

Omicron Theta Chi
alpha Kappa Delta Phi
Omega Phi Beta
Sigma Tau Alpha
Sigma Pi Alpha
Alpha Xi Delta
Alpha Phi Omega
Lambda Theta Nu
Kappa Alpha Theta

It was really great to see so many chapters out and about supporting a good cause!

At Target, I chatted with a Sinfonian from Coe College. Damn, if his singing voice is anything like his speaking voice, I will melt! I'm just saying...

As I was driving across Tennessee a couple of weeks ago coming home from my grandmother's funeral, I left the convenience store after paying for my gas to discover a young woman holding the door open for me. She said Hi in a really happy voice, and explained that she had seen my Jeep parked at the pump with the AXiD letters on the back window and was hoping to meet me. When she saw me coming out wearing my Autism Speaks co-branded sweatshirt, she assumed it was my Jeep.

We chatted for a few minutes about her chapter, what they are doing this semester and how much she is looking forward to graduation. That was just the pick me up that I needed after a stressful week with my family.
