The following schools have announced that they are opening for NPC expansion:
University of Delaware
Roosevelt University (Chicago)
Northeastern University (Boston)
Good luck to all groups that will be presenting.

Alpha Sigma Alpha will have 2 colonies this fall:
Indiana U - Purdue U Indianapolis - colonizing an existing local group
Rogers State University (Claymore, OK) - a "from the ground up" colonization to expand the campus's Greek system
Yay!

As a member of the extension committee since November at Maryland, I just wanted to clear up any rumors. UMD is NOT open for extension. We had been researching since November, recommended yes as a committee, but the PHA delegates voted no last month.

Really?
Good for them if that's true, but it surprises me -- that's a commuter school that attracts a lot of nontrads. It won't be an easy environment for an NPC.

From what I read on their website, it's serves the people of Rogers County. Maybe the county was named for him!

Sidenote: It has always amused me that the airport in OKC is Will Rogers World Airport (not "International," but "World!")

I was curious where Claymore, OK was located in the state...even MAPQUEST doesn't know:

I have no idea where I got Claymore from Claremore. Maybe my contacts were in the wrong eyeballs.
