David Brudnoy

http://www.boston.com/news/local/art...pares_for_end/

I don't know how many of you have access or listen to Boston radio, especially AM, but David Brudnoy has been a longtime presence with his radio show on WBZ. After battling back from illness years ago, it appears he is in his final days in his bout with cancer. You may not always have agreed with him on his show, but he was always thought-provoking and respectful of other views.

On top of all that, from all accounts he is a extremely kind man. I got to speak with him on a few occasions when I was at Boston U. (he is a professor there), and he was always engaging and friendly.

The thoughts and prayers of a lot of Bostonians are with him right now.

ETA: If this is more appropriate in the Entertainment section, my apologies. I was unsure of where it would fit best.

Professor Brudnoy passed away a short time ago. This is truly a loss for the city of Boston and journalism as a whole.

May he rest in peace.
