According to the statement, if I’m reading it correctly, three individual members of the U of Florida chapter have been expelled from ZBT, and the U of Florida and Emory chapters have been suspended. ZBT also says it’ll hire an independent investigator . . . . See

“We are honored that hundreds of our ZBT brothers have served in the military and are disgusted that certain members of our Fraternity failed to exhibit the behaviors we expect from them towards our nation’s heroes — respect, gratitude and honor.

If memory serves, wasn't the Emory (now former) chapter of ZBT attacked with some evil, discriminatory vandalism in 2014/15?

That was Alpha Epsilon Pi (AEPi) at Emory, not ZBT.

Just an FYI. An exploratory committee has been formed at Texas A&M, College Station for NPC expansion. Still in very early stages. I doubt much gets going until the Fall.

I know that typically this isn't how the men's group expand, but how common is this system of presenting to IFC becoming? I am guessing that TCU took this systematic approach because the university owns the fraternity houses and to get a house you need campus recognition.

Sigma Nu has had a local/TCU presence before, but they were off campus and never attained official recognition by the university. The had a off campus house, parties, etc., but could not participate in any official campus events. I'm not exactly sure when they shut down, but I think it was in the range of 10-15 years ago. The other 3 have never been at TCU before.

Tau Delta Phi at Christopher Newport University(VA) will relinquish its charter at the end of this semester. Closure is due to low membership numbers.

The Towson University (MD) Alpha Epsilon Phi colony will be chartered as the Beta Nu chapter. The AEPhi colony at Texas A&M was also founded this past semester.

Also Kappa Alpha Theta will be colonizing at the University of Rochester per their national website.
