Arkansas Rush 2009

Let's get started. I hear 715 for rush this year, compared to 756 last year.

All my good friends have been talked hoarse. It's rough on 'em.

Economy's hurting rush a bit, but with only 8 houses or so on campus, each house will be filled to the brim with new girls.

Due to bad weather on Thursday, all recruitment activities were cancelled. As of now, Pref Day will be Saturday with Bid Day on Sunday. Good luck to all the girls.

Quota was 68. AOII took 80. Haven't heard any other numbers.

I kind of think that's a low quota, isn't it? Hasn't it been in the 70's? I could be wrong.

Last year the quota range was 67-76 but all but one group took at least 80. Seems about the same this year.

And unfortunately, we all know what group that one was.

I thought they were going to pull their charter, but truth is for their national org...They're probably still one of the top ten biggest chapters for their national org...just the smallest on our campus.

ZTA took 82 new babies! If memory serves me, they took close to 80 last year, too.

Kappa took 84 and my daughter was one of them! Woo hoo!

Irish, I was so happy for the AOPis this year - FINALLY getting to rush in that beautiful, new house! I imagine that was pretty nifty!

Yes, Sue E, you are right, most took in the low 80's last year as well.

Arkansas has not, in the past, posted the full Bid Lists anywhere. They could take a lesson from schools like Bama, etc.

Hmm, I don't know why I pegged you as a Pi Phi.
