Cool Define "BITCH"

So many people use the word, and women hate it. I'm curious to see the women's definition of a bitch.

Bruhs, let's let them do their thang first; then jump in.

Just kidding! It depends on how a person views women. If someone believes in traditional gender roles, sees a woman who is assertive, stong-willed, or outspoken, she may be deemed a bitch. But, if a person isn't sexist may view a bitch as a keniving or cruel woman.

Seriously, I honestly think it means female dog, but I think the men that called me that were meaning it totally different, like maybe too independent, stuck up, or snooty. Because when I don't accept a guy's advances, I'm always called a stuck up b..ch. On the other hand, my boyfriend says I'm being bitchy when I ask him to take out the trash more than once...hmmm maybe he could've did it the 1st time and I wouldn't have to ask again...go figure.

1) Just being evil and nagging and mean for no apparent reason.

2) Unnecessarily snooty (hmmm, can it EVER be necessary to be snooty?)

3) Crybabies, whiners, sore losers (read: Allen Iverson after EVERY call)

4) Men who let women (or another man, for that matter) punk them ALL THE TIME.

That's all I can't think of right now.

I'm a bitch!

When I stand up for myself and my beliefs,
they call me a bitch.

When I stand up for those I love, they call me a bitch.

When I speak my mind, think my own thoughts,
or do things my own way, they call me a bitch.

Being a bitch entails raising my children to be strong people who have a solid sense of personal and social responsibility, who are
not afraid to stand up for what they believe in and who love andn respect themselves for the beautiful beings they are.

Being a bitch means that I am free to be the wonderful creature that am, with all my own intricacies, contradictions, quirks and beauty.

Being a bitch means I won't compromise what's in my heart. It means I live my life MY way.
It means I won't allow anyone to step on me.

When I refuse to tolerate injustice and speak up against it, I am defined as a bitch.

The same thing happens when I take time for myself instead of being everyone's maid, or when I act a little selfish.

I am proud to be a bitch! It means I have the courage and strength to allow myself to be who I truly am and won't become anyone else's idea of what they think I "should" be.

I am outspoken, opinionated, and determined. By God, I want what I want, and there is nothing wrong with that!

So try to stomp on me, try to douse my inner flame, try to squash every ounce of beauty I hold within me. You won't succeed.

And if that makes me a bitch, so be it. I embrace the title and am proud to bear it.

I love this, I can call myself a bitch now and not feel bad about it

Send this to all the bitches you know!!!

The definition of one??? Yeah, a female dog. No, seriously, it's a matter of perception. Some men perceive all women to be B****es & hoes. Some call us that when they can't get what they want out of us, because they think that's the hardest name that they can call us & hurt us.

Some men & women perceive women that are "gold diggas", unfaithful, evil, insensitive, and cold to be B****es.

I've heard the term used between two friends (much like we sometimes use the term n**ga)...even though I don't flow like that with my "gyrls".

My personal feeling about the term? It's derogatory. You can't hurt me by calling me one because I know who I am and what I believe. However, if we want to be respected, we can't refer to ourselves as b****es.

Did I answer your question?

i didn't see anything in those lines that indicated that it is the shyt to be a bitch...i think the gist was that "i" am going to be me and handle my business no matter what...and if that is perceived as being a bitch...and that is the label that others will attatch to a woman that does that...so be it...and why not be proud about it because if someone thinks a woman is a bitch for those reasons...they obviously have issues...and probably should get a little "bitchy" every now and again...
