A little birdie told me that we'll be presenting at the University of Arkansas!
AND our presentation at Georgia Southern is TOMORROW!

sorry for the swerve but are you aware of any other sororities presenting? I had a scenario in my head of what would happen at U of A and I'm wondering if I'm right.
And best of luck to you!

I would have loved to go to the Ga. Southern one but Panhellenic didn't want alumnae to come.
Darn, and I was actually in that part of the state this weekend!
Oh well, hope it went super awesome!
And YEA for Arkansas!

Didn't want Alums! Are they crazy don't they know we live for things like this.
I have seen two presentations. One live and the recreation of Syracuse at convention. They were two very different events. Of course I would expect Alpha to be a big deal. But I must say, I was rather disappointed in the other one. Anybody ever been to more than one? If they were close in time period were they the same? (Taliored to the school of course) I would love to see some more.

Just curious, what exactly goes on at a presentation?

The presentations have changed dramatically over time, partly because of who is the IVPE at the time of the presentation, but also based on Executive Director, too. I was part of a presentation a few years back, and the one done at Convention was a complete revamp of that iteration.

My experience with presentations was so long ago (1974-77) that those efforts would seem penny-ante compared to what they are today. (I traveled with a little pillow--red velveteen with yellow & green cording--that displayed Fraternity jewelry. Sheesh.)

Just saw that we were selected to colonize at App. (I won't bother trying to spell it, either ) State in 2014!
And hooray for Delta Eta at SDSU! I know an alumna from that chapter who must be thrilled!
Collective fingers crossed now for Delta Epsilon at UCLA! We just have to have UCLA with USC...we just have to!

I paid an extension visit to Appalachian State in the fall of *1974* when I was leadership consultant. It just took 40 years for that seed to germinate!!

Wonderful!
Were these two chapters originally local sororities or just interest groups?

They were not prior groups. I guess you could say they were made from "the git-go".
