I was up late a couple nights ago watching Midnight Love on BET. They played that Troop (remember Troop?) video 'All I Do Is Think Of You'. I was GRINNING! I used to LOVE that song.

Back in the day, remember, there used to be a few songs that would get you out of the bed on a school day. Any SWV song would have me up and dancing around. The same goes for Tevin Campbell. What the HELL went wrong with him? Anyway, what were everybody's EARLY MORNING FAVORITES?

The song that will always get me out of bed is "Groove Me" by GUY. Girl, as soon as I hear this song I start dancing around all over the house!! There was a part in it toward the end that went: THE PARTY'S NOT OVER! Then the beat would start up again!
Also, LL Cool J's "Jingling Baby"

At the risk of being laughed out of the room, every now and then I put on my Jets album and listen "boy you got it all over him, you got me over him, out on a limb . .." Please tell me I'm not the only one who remembers that.

And The Boys. Remember when everyone thought Hakeem was so cute? And there would always be some girl who'd be like, "yeah, I live across the street from them; they live in Carson." I swear, I never believed Jawana (and yes, that was her name).

The first album was great and then it all went downhill. Kinda like the Tevin Campbell phonomenon, though he held on a little longer.

As for Teena Marie, Portuguese Love is my fav, right up there with Square Biz.

And don't even get me going on Chaka Khan. I'm always stealing, oops I mean "borrowing" my mother's CD.

Anyway WEAK was my crank. That was my senior year in high school and it would get me going.

Since i bought the LOVE AND BASKETBALL Sdtrk. I am having ROB BASE and DJ ED ROCK flashbacks thanks to IT TAKES TWO.

Honey I used to love the JETS and the BOYS, DIAL MY HEART!!!
