I am also interested in rushing my sophomore year as well. I was no so sure about rushing my freshman year, but I'm definitely interested now. I attend Ole Miss and rush is extremely competitive here. I know rushing as a sophomore can be somewhat a disadvantage, but is there any advice for increasing my chances of receiving a bid?

Not trying to be snarky, 33Girl, but since you aren't a member of all 26 NPC groups, you can't know whether a national organization pressures them to fill all quotas. Mine happens to track that. Yours may not. It just depends. That's why I said "generally" and "that not all groups care about that."
That's why I said "I thought" and "was under the impression" not "is." I honestly didn't know and was wondering how groups handled it. Maybe I should go back and put question marks in my post?
