There's a breast cancer group that takes donated dresses, too - they resell them and the money goes to research, I think. You'd have to google them.

If you don't want to donate your dress, you can try to sell it on ebay.

I read something in For Me Magazine yesterday about a place to donate your old wedding dress and they will donate 20% of the sale to the charity of your choice. I'll look it up when I get home.

Since I posted in the engagement rings thread, I figured I'd bump this up to post my dress contenders, too. We're doing both an Indian ceremony and a non-denominational ceremony (I'm not religious, but I want to wear the white dress and walk down the isle and all that jazz).
