Question Old Morehead St. fraternity??

My stepdad was a member of a Greek organization at Morehead State University in Morehead, KY, in the early 1960s which was called the Collegiate Knights. He says that his fraternity later went national after he left, but he doesn't know what it is now called or what national GLO it affiliated with, if any. I'm just curious about finding this out, so if anyone knows, tell me!
PS. I have his Collegiate Knights paddle, which has what looks like a Lambda turned on its side (so that the point faces left) followed by a K on the front.

I am gonna be willing to be that they went Kappa Alpha Order. Delta Nu chapter was established there in 1969-1970 and I am sure that is what they went. Ask him if KA rings a bell. The Delta Nu chapter is defunct now, but we are working hard to get it back for Morehead

Thanks so much--I didn't really expect to get an answer because no one that I've talked to has any idea what I'm talking about! Could you tell me a little about the history of Delta Nu chapter of KA and I'll ask him about it? It seems to make sense, because he was there in '64 and if that chapter didn't organize until '69, it would fit.

Intercollegiate Knights

This may not be what you are looking for but there is a national organization called the Intercollegiate Knights. The site only lists 3 active chapters but maybe they had one at Morehead. http://ik.clubs.byu.edu/index.html

I checked the K.A. national web page and it said the Delta Nu chapter was at Murray State U...wrong school. I don't think it was the Intercollegiate Knights, either. I'm still looking, though! But thank you all for your help--I really appreciate it.

That's all right--I'm glad you took the time to answer, anyway! I don't think I'll ever find out the answer to this because I've been looking for months now and I haven't come up with anything...besides, from what I've heard, the Greek system at Morehead has gone through so many changes since then so there's a good chance my stepdad's fraternity isn't even there anymore under any name. Maybe one day I'll get lucky and find it, though!

You might try, if you are close to M S to research the school papers archives to see if anything available there.

Many times there would be articles about Social Groups and if any changes!
